Promote your video & hope it goes viral
| Learn More |
Having your video go "viral" means that it spreads like a virus. It's the kind of video people are constantly forwarding to friends, family and co-workers usually with a subject line like, "You have to see this!" or "Cool video." This is your goal. In order to do this, you need to create a buzz around the video. Here are some ways to do that:
- Email to friends and family-no hard sell or marketing lingo here-just something like, "I just created my first YouTube video and thought you might enjoy it. Please send it along to others if you like it."
- Add video and/or link to video to your website, blog, Facebook, MySpace, etc.
- Send a press release via pr.com for free on the launching of your new video
